About Leather Traditions

Formed in 2006 in San Francisco, Leather Traditions is a group of leather folks concerned with providing mentoring and educational opportunities with the purpose of maintaining and integrating the traditional culture of leather in day-to-day life. Leather Traditions is non-profit, all volunteer, and welcomes participation and support from the Leather Community.

It is our belief that the collective experience of those that have come before is a valuable asset to our community and deserves to be honored and to be shared. The mission of Leather Traditions is to provide continuity within our community through mentoring, education and support for those who are in, or interested in, leather BDSM or kink as a lifestyle choice.
